Land of Opportunities!!

“Hey Friends, you know what? I got my Visa and I will be flying to the Land of Opportunities (USA). I will fulfill all my dreams that I ever dreamt off. I will be a successful person now.”

I am sure most of us who come to USA think the same before landing here. True enough. People do come to USA and try to fulfill their long lasting dreams and many do get a chance to taste success. Ever wondered at what cost that success comes at?

It comes at the cost of staying away from your family, friends and loved ones and to add to that, its not the person who comes to US but their family back home who suffer a lot. Every minute their family/parents are worried if their son/daughter is doing good or not. How will he/she manage everything and survive.

Talking about me, I had a great 2 and half years of journey in USA till now and the journey is still going on, but when I look back at my old days and try to see what I gained, it looks like I gained a lot but I lost a little more, than what I gained!!

Money and Dreams are not everything in Life, which is what I realized from my own self. Many people may not agree with me on this, but I am sure those who have fulfilled their dreams... will support my realization that Family, Friends and Enjoying the present moments is more important than many other things in life.

Before I started this journey even I believed that if you earn well then you will be happy but now that belief have changed. What will I do by earning good and with whom will I share all that. My family is not around me, and I am doing all this for my Parents and family (really strange why I am doing so…).

I hope that God will give me a chance to go back home some time soon and spend some time with my family.

I cannot think of anything else at this point of time so I would sign off from here.
